The install took about 30 minutes and was fairly easy. Step one is to remove the mirror glass which allows you to see the clips that hold on the mirror cap. Once you have the mirror cap removed, there is one connector that you'll have to pull out to free the mirror cap from the car. You'll then need a T10 bit to remove the 2 screws holding the stock indicator from the mirror cap.
